About the position
Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently looking for an experienced IT Superintendent to join their operations in Mpumalanga!
Responsibilities:
- Develop, install, configure, and maintain SQL database systems
- Monitor performance, optimize queries, and resolve SQL-related issues
- Implement robust backup, recovery, and security measures to ensure data integrity and availability
- Work closely with developers to support database development and deployment processes
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of database setups and procedures
- Keep informed on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 5 years experience in SQL Database Administration
- Relevant Degree in Information Technology
- SQL Certified Database Administrator Certificate
- Microsoft Certified – Azure Database Administrator and Oracle Certified Professional will be advantageous
