IT Security/ Risk

About the position

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring security alerts and system logs.
• Support vulnerability scans and basic risk assessments.
• Help maintain security tools (e.g antivirus firewalls, SIEM)
• Document incidents and support response efforts.
• Contribute to user awreness and training initiatives
• Ensure basic compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Required skills & qualifications:

• Diploma / degreein IT, Computer Science or Cybersecurity
• Basic knowledge of networking, security concepts and tools.
• Understanding of POPIA, FICA OR ISO27001(advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Internship or academic project experience in IT security (preffered)
