About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
Lead complex, cross-functional technology and business transformation projects from initiation through post-implementation review as the next IT Project Manager wanted to join the team of a PE-based global Logistics Operation. You will be accountable for delivery within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resource constraints, while ensuring compliance with PMO governance standards and project lifecycle controls. The incumbent coordinates internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners; manages risks, dependencies, issues, decisions, and change; drives stakeholder engagement, training, business readiness, and operational transition; and provides clear performance, benefits, and governance reporting to leadership. Applicants will require a Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Business Management/Engineering or related field with 6+ years of IT Project and Program Management including proven experience managing successful teams and navigating complex issues, Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies, advanced data analysis, executive reporting, dashboard development, and presentation skills & proficiency with software such as Wrike, Planisware, Jira, etc.
DUTIES:
- Business Analysis –
- Analyse and gather requirements
- Draw up SOW and Business Case documents.
- Project and Program Demand Management.
- Project and Program Initiation, Planning and Execution -
- Develop detailed project plans.
- Assign resources and coordinate activities.
- Manage resources (time, budget, people etc.).
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables.
- Conduct steering committee meetings, utilize communication plans.
- Keep projects up to date for real time visibility, including RAID logs and subsequent dashboards and reporting.
- Put together test cases and get stakeholder sign off.
- Leadership -
- Draw up communication plans and cadence.
- Facilitate project meetings and steering committee calls.
- Risk Management -
- Identify risks as early as possible and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and adherence to review boards.
- Reporting -
- Provide project/program status reports to Project teams, steering committee and senior leadership.
- Use dashboards within the PM tool to ensure compliance with the PMO governance standards.
- Project Closure -
- Ensure proper project closure is carried out.
- Hand over documentation to Helpdesk/Support teams.

- Project surveys.
- Stakeholder Management -
- Primary point of contact for the project amongst all stakeholders.
- Manage expectations to ensure clear and regular communication on project status.
- Flexibility for calls with regional counterparts or stakeholders in other time zones.
- Work alongside the PMO team on the rollout of the PMO, governance, standards and assisting business units.

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Management, Engineering or related field.
Experience/Skills –
- 6+ Years of IT Project and Program Management.
- PMO governance and project controls.
- Change Management and stakeholder engagement.
- Vendor Management.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.
- Data Analysis and executive reporting.
- Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

- Proficiency in understanding and communicating IT related concepts, technologies and methodologies in the industry.
- Proficiency in the use of project management software such as Wrike, Planisware, Jira, etc.
- Proven experience managing successful teams and navigating complex issues.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects, within time, scope, budget and resource constraints.
- Experience managing large, complex projects
- Strong knowledge of PMO governance, project controls, lifecycle compliance, stage-gate reviews, and audit-ready documentation.
- Experience with vendor management, third-party coordination, commercial commitments, and delivery risk oversight.
- Strong quality assurance, lessons learned, continuous improvement, and benefits realisation capabilities.
- Advanced data analysis, executive reporting, dashboard development, and presentation skills.
- Strong workshop facilitation, requirements elicitation, business analysis, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Advantageous –
- Certifications in: PMP, PgMP, Agile or Scrum certifications or equivalent.
