About the position
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology-driven initiatives with efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from planning through execution, while collaborating across departments and engaging directly with tools and data. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
This is a 3 year contract with the option to renew.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Keep abreast of industry best practices by liaising with external project management forums.
Deciding and initiating action
Cross-department collaboration skills will be required, along with hands-on efforts using the actual tools.
Data management skills – ability to manage large data sets (data mining and interrogation)
Analytical skills to determine root cause of problems and apply creative and effective solutions.
Ability to cope under pressure and high work volumes.
Ability to pay attention to details.

Requirements:
A relevant degree or diploma or equivalent.
At least 8+ years Senior Project Management experience, preferably in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry.
Business Analysis background advantage.
Formal qualification/s in Project Management.
Formal membership of PMI or similar professional organizations advantage.
Understanding of various Technical Terminologies used in SDLC.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Strong Microsoft office suite skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working with Jira and other Project Management tools to enhance project details and visibility.
