IT Operations Manager

About the position

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the banks's IT infrastructure, including servers, network and end-user systems.
• Ensure high availability and performance of critical banking systems and applications.
• Manage IT support teams, icluding helpdesk, network and system and administrators.
• Implement IT policies, procedures and best practices to maintain compliance and security.
• Coordinate with vendor and service providers to endure service level agreemtnts (SLAs).
• Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to align IT operations with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computuer Science, Information Technology or other related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experince in IT operations with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and systems administration.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance starndards (e.g POPIA, FICA)
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as ITIL, COBIT or PMP are advantegeous.
