Position Description:
Internal Software Management (Our clients Members and Accounting System)
- Software Oversight: Manage the company’s internal software used for member and account management, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with organizational needs.
- Sage Knowledge: Understand Sage processes, addressing issues and coordinating with Sage support or technical teams as needed.
- Azure Portal Familiarity: Monitor and manage any components hosted in Azure, ensuring efficient cloud resource use, and coordinate deployments or updates in the Azure environment.
IT Strategy and Operations Management
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, considering both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Budgeting and Cost Management: Oversee budgeting, including cost management for Azure resources and other IT initiatives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with internal and third party software components.
Service Provider Management
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with service providers, manage SLAs, and ensure accountability.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to monitor and improve vendor services and maintain a high level of service quality.
IT Process Development and Implementation
- Policy and Procedure Development: Define standard operating procedures for managing the internal software, Sage integration, and cloud-based processes.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within the software and cloud environments.
Software Licensing Management
- License Compliance: Maintain up-to-date records for internal software, Sage, and Azure, ensuring all licenses and subscriptions are current and compliant.
- Renewal and Procurement: Manage license renewal cycles and evaluate cost-effective licensing options.
Software Development Understanding (Non-Hands-On
- Project Oversight: Coordinate with developers and stakeholders for projects involving the internal software, Sage integration, and Azure components.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison, ensuring the company’s operational requirements are translated into actionable IT deliverables.

Education (Formal Qualification Required)
Minimum
- Relevant IT Qualification - NQF 7 or NQF 6
Experience (Minimum Experience Required)
- 5 Years experience in a similar role.
