About the position

Our client is looking for a driven and skilled IT Developer to join their team.
If you're fluent in Afrikaans and English with experience in modern development tools, this is your opportunity to thrive in a progressive environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric with Mathematics and Science.
- IT degree or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- At least 3 years' experience in Development.
- Proficient in both Afrikaans and English.
Technical Experience and Competencies:
- Experience with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficient in database scripting and management (MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of .NET, React, ASP.Net Core, and Node.js frameworks.
- Experience in the development of RESTful APIs and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
- Understanding of ETL processes, data integration workflows, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git and GitHub.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and stakeholder engagement.
Advantageous Technical Experience:
- Familiarity with reporting and BI tools (PowerBI, SSRS).
- Familiarity with system modelling tools (Visual Paradigm, Microsoft Visio).
- Integration with financial systems.
- Linux server.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Undertake web development and administration.
- Develop mobile and PC applications.
- Create system blueprints.
- Design system architecture.
- Devstack management.
- Oversee project management activities.
- Conduct user acceptance testing.
- Perform system integration through SQL or API.
