IT Administrator

About the position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining a secure, reliable and efficient IT environmnt that supports the organization's operations
• Managing system updates, cybersecurity, technical troubleshooting, user support and training
• Overseeing network infrastructure, servers and user access
• Implementing security protocols and system updates
• Managing IT assets and vendor relationships
• Inventory control
• Scheduling repairs and maintenance for office equipment and infrastructure as needed
• Overseeing hardware and software support with external IT and system development partners
• Ensuring effective use of Cloud and server based filing systems

• Overseeing implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics

• Maintaining networks, systems, VPN's, routers and hardware infrastructure

• Installing/ configuring equipment and resolving hardware/ software issues
• Keeping virus protection and cybersecurity measures up to date
• Monitoring and improving system performance and network stability
• Managing user access, settings and permissions
• Monitoring disaster recovery procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualification in Computer Science or similar preferred
• 2 to 3 years experience in network administration
• Strong understanding of networking and IT infrastructure
• Proven experience in network engineering and performance analysis
• Experience with server management and monitoring tools
• Excellent communication skills for user support and training
• Preferably some experience with Microsoft 365 - Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI
• Ability in JavaScript, SQL,Power BI preferred
• Familiarity with Cisco switches and routers
