About the position
Our client is looking for an experienced ISO and Health and Safety Manager from the manufacturing industry to join their team in the East Rand. This is a permanent position, available immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of ISO 9001:2015 and Health & Safety systems in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, manage and maintain ISO 9001:2015 systems
- Oversee all Health and Safety protocols and compliance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Develop and maintain documentation in line with ISO standards
- Train and support staff in ISO and H&S procedures
- Liaise with external auditors and certification bodies
- Ensure legal compliance with health and safety legislation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and safety
Requirements:
- Matric
- Qualified Internal Auditor
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (ISO and Health and Safety)
- Proven experience in the implementation of ISO 9001:2015
- Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (advantageous)
- Must reside in the East Rand or surrounding area
