You've got your investment-related degree, gained some technical admin experience and now you want to get stuck into the real technical support tasks that make the investment industry tick. You are meticulous and organized with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and have an even bigger passion for the investment world. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where managing priorities efficiently is key.
You'll be responsible for processing subscription and redemption instructions for Alternative Investments, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Property Funds. Maintain and input non-automated investment transactions into internal database systems while ensuring accurate investment accounting for non-automated client portfolios. Manage corporate actions, proxy votes, conversions, capital calls, and distributions. Handle KYC, FATCA, CRS, and compliance documentation for fund administrators and third parties. Prepare SWIFT payment instructions and perform investment position reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a completed commerce degree, coupled with at least 2 years of working experience in the investment industry. You need to ideally have gained experience doing investment support with exposure to KYC, FATCA, CRS as well as corporate actions. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
