What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You'll oversee the daily operations for a suite of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds and global fund vehicles. This hands-on role will see you managing NAV reconciliations, fee calculations, performance reporting, and trade execution processes. You'll liaise with third-party administrators, custodians, and brokers, ensure regulatory compliance, and support board and audit reporting. From launching new funds to refining operational controls and adopting automation, your work will directly shape the efficiency and success of the investment operations function.

What you'll need
You hold a BCom or similar financial qualification and bring at least 5-7 years' experience in asset management operations. Experience in both hedge and global fund environments is a essential. While a CA(SA) or CFA isn't mandatory, it's advantageous. You're proficient in Excel and familiar with systems like AlphaDesk, Bitbucket, and Bloomberg. Your toolkit includes strong project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with hands-on knowledge of trade processing, compliance, and reporting.
