You'll be responsible for all operational and fund accounting aspects of portfolio administration. Your day-to-day will include reconciling portfolio data, managing daily cash liquidity and NAV accuracy, and producing daily and monthly reports for both the investment team and external clients. You'll also support the preparation of fund factsheets, ensure compliance with mandates, and handle investor queries. Additionally, you'll assist in automating manual processes and improving reporting methods-your contributions will directly support a high-performing investment team in achieving their goals.
You'll be joining an award-winning boutique equity investment firm known for its high standards, performance-driven culture, and deep client focus. This is an ideal environment for someone who wants to be close to the investment action and gain exposure across the operational value chain in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating setting. You will be fully office based in beautiful offices in the heart of the Cape Town CBD with views of the harbour.
You'll have a BCom or BBus Sci degree, and at least 2 years' experience in a portfolio administration or operations role. A strong understanding of NAV calculations, equity and fixed income products, and collective investment schemes is essential. You'll be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally have some knowledge of international markets. Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-starting abilities are a must.
