You are a highly motivated, detail-oriented investment professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll play a critical role in supporting the Head of Investments and Head of Research. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with fund managers, conducting due diligence on a variety of funds, and producing both qualitative and quantitative investment reports. You'll analyse large data sets, refine reporting processes, and compile market overviews and regulatory reports. Your work will directly inform strategic investment decisions and ensure the organisation maintains a robust, forward-thinking investment strategy.

You'll have a relevant bachelor's degree with a postgraduate qualification, preferably working towards or having achieved CFA certification. A background of 3-5 years' experience in investments is essential, along with advanced MS Office skills. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or SQL is advantageous. You must possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to work. Exposure to platforms like Morningstar and Iress would be highly beneficial. Preference will be given to EE candidates and only candidates currently living in Cape Town can be considered.
