About the position
Provide administrative support to investment management team, ensuring efficient operations, accurate client account handling, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Mimimum Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or similar
- 2 years administrative experience in financial services or investment management
- Knowledge of segregated mandate requirements
- Familiarity with investment administration, FICA and FAIS compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of stockbroking processes and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange is beneficial
Key Performance Areas:
- Stakeholder engagement and collaboration - act as the point of contact
- Ensure FAIS and FICA compliance
- New business processing and administrative support
- Manage and maintain accurate client portfolio records, including track and communicate portfolio actions such as dividends and corporate events
- Process investment instructions including trades, deposits, and withdrawals
- Prepare and distribute regular investment reports and compliance updates
- Maintain a complete and accurate audit trail of all client documentation
- Coordinate internal and client meetings, including agendas and minutes
- Assist with general administrative duties such as diary management, travel, and office support
