About the position
An exciting opportunity for an Inventory Manager has become available in New Germany. Roles and Responsibilities Transfers Required skills and qualifications NQF Level 5 in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or any other relevant qualification
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is passionate, a self-starter, and someone who pays attention to detail.
Supervise and coordinate Staff on daily operations
Run Daily cycle counts and investigate variances, in line with the companies objectives
Ensure stock is stored according to the correct Bin Locations at all times
Ensure Stock is labeled correctly
Oversee stock received by suppliers; Including receiving, verifying, and storage of goods
Ensure accurate and timely receipt , storage ,and picking of inventory levels
Plan and execute quarterly stock takes to ensure accuracy at all times
Ensure the right documentation is endorsed if any discrepancies
Manage all transfers between companies are done correctly-Physical and System stock
Conduct on site Customer Audits
Continuous improvement; enhancing internal procedures and controls
Identify Discounted stock and implement waste control mechanisms
Ensure proper housekeeping is done
Manage LIFO/FIFO System
Responding to and resolving stock queries by Management
Involvement in all new roll outs
Ensuring stock availability to meet customer requirements
Reporting all stock discrepancies to Management
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels
Manage, motivate, train, and continually develop the inventory team
Optimize layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and efficiency
3-5 years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge within the Hardware or Retail sector would be advantageous.
Knowledge of IQ Retail System would be advantageous
