Internal Stock Controller

About the position

Our client is looking for an energetic young internal stock auditor to join their team.
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:

• Completed Business Degree (Supply Chain, Logistics management preferred)
• Proficiency with basic computer programs Excel, word, outlook etc.
• Experience in stock control and process management.
• Understanding Warehouse management processes, capturing stock counts, and the ability to investigate stock discrepancies and provide reasons for the discrepancies.
• Understanding Inventory control to ensure stock accuracy in the head office and branches.
• Travel to branches monthly to do Branch Audits

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Managing Takealot stock counts: SOH on ERP to SOH on Takealot Portal. Counts are done daily, and discrepancies are investigated and corrected to ensure stock accuracy.
• Managing National Finished Goods Stock Counts.
• Managing Raw Materials Stock Counts.
• Management of all stock administration.
• Managing W.I.P. Stock Holdings.
• Branch Stock Audits.
• Monthly Reporting – WIP Report/Journal Summary Report/Bluefuel Report.
• Weekly reporting – transfer discrepancy report/Cost adjustment report
• Trackmatic – Ensuring details are up to date on reports.
• Tool checks.
• Setting up and creating count schedules for stock categories to be counted. (This includes finished goods as well as raw materials). Ensuring counts are done and captured.
• Vehicle checks and reporting are done weekly.
• Responsible for all stock journals.
