About the position

A well-established company in Germiston is seeking an Internal Sales Representative with marketing experience to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Internal Sales, Telesales, Business Development or Account Management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Marketing experience is essential
  • Strong business development and customer relationship management skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience within the hardware, plumbing, tools, industrial, building materials, wholesale or distribution industries is highly advantageous
  • Valid driver's licence is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly sales and new business targets
  • Conduct outbound sales and prospecting calls
  • Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Promote products, specials and strategic product ranges
  • Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into sales
  • Reactivate dormant accounts
  • Generate qualified leads for the External Sales team
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines
  • Provide exceptional customer service and account support
  • Participate in ongoing product training
