About the position
A well-established company in Germiston is seeking an Internal Sales Representative with marketing experience to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Internal Sales, Telesales, Business Development or Account Management
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Marketing experience is essential
- Strong business development and customer relationship management skills
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience within the hardware, plumbing, tools, industrial, building materials, wholesale or distribution industries is highly advantageous
- Valid driver's licence is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly sales and new business targets
- Conduct outbound sales and prospecting calls
- Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Promote products, specials and strategic product ranges
- Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into sales
- Reactivate dormant accounts
- Generate qualified leads for the External Sales team
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines
- Provide exceptional customer service and account support
- Participate in ongoing product training
