About the position

An international printing inks manufacturing company requires the above to provide commercial and operational support to the manufacturing and sales teams by coordinating, liaising with customers and colleagues ensuring that all internal sales / supply chain responsibilities are done efficiently and correctly always making sure that customers expectations are met at all times.
Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Must be customer service orientated.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Previous experience having worked in an internal sales and or supply chain administrative role is essential.
  • Previous experience having worked within the printing inks or related manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential. 
  • The successful candidate must have good Excel spreadsheet skills capabilities as well as have previous experience working on SAP or a related ERP System is preferred. 
  • The successful candidate should be customer-orientated, passionate and dedicated to working with customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing commercial and operational support to the manufacturing and sales teams by co-ordinating and liaising with customers and colleagues making sure that customers' expectations are met at all times. 
  • Receiving, processing, and monitoring of customer orders.
  • Capturing all sales orders on SAP and ensuring accurate pricing/quantities are loaded correctly.
  • Converting sales orders to invoices and sending invoices to customers.
  • Liaising and assisting customers with orders, back-order queries and following up, both by email and telephonically.
  • Liaising with operations to track customer orders.
  • Liaising with logistics for deliveries.
  • Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues, and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion.
  • Effectively manage pricing strategies, together with the sales manager and sales representative.
  • Liaising with the operations and planning department to track client order completion.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
