About the position


THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS TO:
Provide customer service through the customer experience. Communicate with our clients to understand their needs and requirements to ensure a smooth sales process and good overall customer experience.
 
THE TOP PRIORITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:

  • To manage incoming calls and customer service inquiries, generate sales, and identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • To build & maintain good relationships with customers
  • Generate customer quotations
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Stock management
  • Managing back-orders
  • Procurement of stock, as and if needed
  • Sales and related administration

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:
MUST HAVE'S

  • Matric or Equivalent with math or business studies
  • Excellent customer service ability with at least 2 years of internal sales or customer servicing experience
  • Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong numeracy and administrative skills

 
WILL COUNT IN YOUR FAVOUR

  • Previous Pastel Evolution experience
  • Any technical/construction/tooling or similar background or knowledge
