About the position
Role Summary We are seeking a proactive and driven Internal Sales Representative to manage customer relationships and drive sales from our branch location. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for converting enquiries into sales and ensuring exceptional service delivery across our product portfolio (Gas, Welding, and Safety). Key Responsibilities Required Experience and Qualifications We require a minimum of 2-3 years of proven success in an Internal Sales or Counter Sales role within the industrial hardware, welding, gas, engineering, or related technical supply industry. Salary Range: R15,000 - R20,000 per month (Cost to Company)
Product Knowledge and practical understanding of industrial supplies are highly advantageous. Specific experience with Welding/Cutting equipment, Industrial Gases (LPG, Argon, Oxygen), or Safety/PPE will be prioritized.
You must possess a Grade 12 Certificate (Matric) or an equivalent qualification. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with a sales/inventory management system. We are looking for an individual who is highly organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and possesses a strong commitment to professional customer service.
