About the position
Our Client is looking for Internal Sales Person to join their team?
Location: Johannesburg
Job Purpose
To manage customer orders, provide product information, prepare quotations, and deliver excellent customer service while supporting the sales team in achieving business objectives.
Experience
- No previous experience required.
- Previous internal sales or customer service experience will be advantageous.
Academic Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
Key Performance Areas | Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer calls and enquiries.
- Liaise with customers regarding products, pricing, availability, and orders.
- Discuss and provide information on products to customers.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Expedite and follow up on customer deliveries.
- Handle customer enquiries and provide timely feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers.
- Follow up on quotations and potential sales opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
- Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Sound working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Steel product knowledge will be advantageous.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Pastel knowledge will be advantageous.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
