Internal Sales Officer

About the position

Our client is a wholesale distribution company providing the market with pet food, pet accessories, animal feed and pharmaceuticals. Servicing the following customer segments: Veterinarians, Pet Shops, Animal Breeders, Co-operations, Pharmacies, Feed Mills, Dairy Intensive, Pig Intensive and Poultry Intensive Farming.

They want to appoint a Portfolio Officer/Internal Sales Officer in Cape Town, to enable effective sales and customer services. The ideal candidate would be able to communicate with customers and able to delivery efficient, fast sales service.

• Duties:
• Perform an internal sales function.
• Receive orders from clients and execute them.
• Communicate with clients daily.
• Processing sales orders on the financial system.
• You'll be coached and supported by an excellent team wanting to see you succeed.
• Skills and Requirements:
• Good communication skills and min 2 years' experience
• An aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.
• Highly motivated, determined, and target driven.
• Good interpersonal skills and like to work with people.
• Team player
• Able to operate independently.
