Internal Sales / Logistics Administrator - KZN

About the position

A well-established chemical raw materials company requires the above to manage all customer orders with regards to chemical raw materials within the industrial, paints and coatings manufacturing industries as well as handle various logistics / supply chain responsibilities working closely with the external sales team and senior management.
Minimum requirements for the role:

• Matric is essential.
• Previous internal sales experience having worked within the chemical raw material industry is preferred.
• Computer literacy including Word and basic Excel is essential.
• Experience working on Pastel is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage all customer orders with regards to chemical raw materials within the industrial, paints and coatings manufacturing industries as well as handle various logistics/supply chain responsibilities working closely with the external sales team and senior management.
• Liaising with customers regarding the processing of orders.
• Liaising with various departments to ensure that customers' deliveries of raw materials are met.
• Ensuring that customers are constantly updated on back orders with regard to stock.
• Ensuring that all orders received are correctly captured on pastel.
• Liaising with the sales team as well as senior management on a daily basis and updating them on any developments.
• Supplying customers with samples when requested.
• Working closely with the external sales team to ensure that they are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts.
• Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries are resolved timeously.
• Ensuring that credit notes are completed and processed on time.
• Manage stock and ensure that the warehouse has enough stock on hand for customer requirements.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
