Position Overview:
To drive revenue growth by managing customer relationships, generating leads, and supporting the external sales team through remote communication channels such as phone, email, and CRM platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify potential clients and assess their needs.
- Customer Communication: Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, providing product/service information.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Track and report sales activities using CRM systems.
- Order Processing: Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on deliveries.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and external sales teams.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales metrics and forecasts.
- Customer Retention: Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
- Perform any other related duties as required by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience in the steel industry is advantageous.
- At least 2 years' experience in Sales will be an advantage.
- Product knowledge - Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Pipe (training will be provided).
- Computer literate (e.g., Syspro, MS Office, Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
