About the position

Provide support to the Senior Accounts Manager and Specialist Sales Consultants. Serve as a customer liaison by preparing all quotes, update sales activity and numbers, do forecasting, reporting, and planning. Manage diaries and schedule appointments.

Responsibilities of the position:
Account support:

• Accounts creation, vetting, and query management
• Administrative support
• Ensure management of accounts with BDCs
• Proposals and order creation
• Prepare all documentation for Tenders to submit
• Ensure all paperwork and relevant documentation is in line with requirements
• Qualify new leads
• Liaise with Logistics for Cross Border opportunities
• Liaise with Procurement for pricing on deals for export
• Daily follow ups with Customers and order generation

Build & develop customer centric capability:

• Continuously improve processes and the customer experience

Customer Relationship Management:

• Support BDCs in building and sustaining mutually beneficial relationships
• Customer liaison
• Ability to handle all customer queries and complaints

Planning:

• Track and evaluate results
• Update sales reports and activities and forecast reporting
• Manage diaries
• With the BDC's submit weekly reports on order progress and quotes
• Take full responsibility for the supply chain of all orders from quote to delivery

Requirements of the position:

• Matric or Post Matric qualification
• 2-3 years' sales support and customer service experience
• Steel industry and steel product knowledge nice to have
• Experience working on SAGE X3 or SAP
• Experience in Export and Cross Border Business will be highly beneficial
