Internal Sales /Customer Services Administrator - Durban North

About the position

A well-known and established chemical coatings manufacturing company requires the above to capture and process orders and invoices as well as having to liaise with customers and internal staff to ensure that orders and deliveries are completed accordingly.
Minimum requirements for the role:

• Previous experience having worked within an internal sales or related role capturing invoices and orders and having liaised with customers is essential for the role.
• Previous experience having worked within the chemical manufacturing or distribution, or related industries is preferred but not essential. The company is happy to look at any internal sales/customer services experience working within any industry.
• Previous experience having worked on pastel evolution is essential.
• Basic Excel experience is essential.
• The company will consider a person who has worked in a financial administration role for this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Liaising with customers telephonically with regards to their chemical orders and pricing.
• Capturing and processing orders on pastel evolution.
• Working closely with sales staff and management regarding customer queries and deliveries of product.
• Liaising with the warehouse and distribution in terms of products being delivered to customers and stock availability.
• Handle customer complaints, issues and account queries.

 Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
