About the position

An established company based in George is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Consultant from technical industry to join their team
Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Grade12 or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in technical industry 
• Ability to read designs and understand measurements 
• A Sales Diploma will be advantageous
• Strong communication negotiation and inter personal skills
• Excellent product knowledge and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and achieve sales targets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new client manage existing accounts and achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Generate new sales opportunities throughout bound calls emails and customer engagement
• Handle inbound enquiries and walk-in customers professionally
• Prepare quotations process sales orders and issue invoices
• Follow up on orders with production and logistics keeping customers informed of progress and delays
• Resolve customer queries manage credits and re-invoicing and ensure excellent service delivery
• Maintain adequate floor stock and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Identify opportunities to improve sale service delivery and operational processes
