EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years experience in sales or related position and/or the relevant tertiary credentials.
LICENCES: Code 8
COMMENTS: To effectively manage house accounts.
Handle all incoming client queries, sales leads
SUMMARY:
The main objectives of an Internal Sales Consultant are: -
1.To assist the region by managing an agreed upon portfolio.
2.To report incoming leads to Depot Manager or Cape Sales Manager and to quote clients accordingly.
3.To manage all tenders from start to finish
4.To be a proud representative of the company and seek out and report any opportunities to management.
5.To act as the conduit between the client, yourself as well as operations by making bookings for services.
6.To ensure effective management of commodities
7.To visit the market every quarter by way of obtaining updated commodity rates. These findings to be presented to Depot Manager every quarter
8.To follow up on customer queries daily.
1.Effectively and accurately manage prescribed portfolio
2.Identify opportunities to increase the gross revenue of the business
3.To record all the required information accurately.
TASKS:
1.Undertake all duties and tasks as prescribed from time to time by your Superior.
2.Phone clients to make bookings.
3.To check for any specific instructions that a customer may require.
4.Resolve customer queries where you can by being proactive.
5.Identify ways to enhance the profitability of the business
6.Ensure where possible that all house accounts clients have valid contracts
7.To retain a register for all clients with expiry dates of contracts included.
8.Capture daily reporting requirements i.e. quote register, KPI's, WIS numbers, daily revenue chase,
9.Inform customers of any missed lifts
10.Provide accurate and meaningful monthly reports to Depot Manager and Cape Sales Manager.
11.Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by fulfilling a client liaison role
12.Ensure attention to detail is given to all accounts
13.Ensure all filing is up to date
14.Ensure New client check sheets are up to date and fully completed
15.Ensure tender packs are completed on time if required
16.Assist with day-to-day requests for SHE Files, Presentations, House accounts
