Internal Sales and Dispatch Clerk

About the position

A well-established company in the West Rand seeking an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales & Dispatch Clerk to join their team.
Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Previous experience in internal sales, dispatch or customer service
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of debtors and creditors will be advantageous
• Previous dispatch or logistics administration experience will be advantageous
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and internal sales transactions
• Coordinate daily dispatches and delivery schedules
• Communicate with transporters regarding truck availability
• Generate purchase orders and match them to customer invoices
• Capture and maintain accurate information on Microsoft Excel
• Complete all dispatch and sales documentation accurately and timeously
• Assist customers and provide excellent service
• Perform filing and general administrative duties
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient deliveries
