Overview
We are a highly established and authoritative market leader in the provision of high-quality industrial, commercial, and public amenity lighting solutions, with a legacy spanning over five decades. We are seeking a diligent and motivated Internal Sales Administrator to join our head office team immediately, providing critical administrative support and managing the core sales processing cycle.

Reporting to: Internal Office Manager
1. Remuneration
- Salary Range: R15,000 to R35,000 per month.
- Determination: Compensation is calculated based on the successful candidate's proven experience, relevant educational qualifications, and overall skillset.
2. Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Internal Sales Administrator is responsible for the efficient processing and documentation of the sales pipeline, serving as a critical link between the external sales force and internal operational departments. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Order Management: Execute the end-to-end order processing cycle, from the initial receipt of the client's order through to final invoicing.
- Quotation Generation: Prepare and manage quotations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to pricing structures.
- System Access: Access and manage client orders and specifications on various electronic e-platforms used for business transactions.
- Internal Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between the internal office and external departments, including the Warehouse, Factory, and other Administration staff, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
- Sales Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and processing support to the allocated team of External Sales Representatives.
- Client Communication: Conduct client liaison, manage communication, and handle incoming telephone calls, which are predominantly sales-related inquiries.
- Backorder Tracking: Actively monitor, follow up, and manage backorders, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed of status and timelines.
- Office Administration: Fulfill various general office administration duties as required to support the efficient functioning of the internal office.
3. Essential Skills and Experience
- Time Management: Exceptional time management and organizational skills are essential to manage competing deadlines and maintain process efficiency.
- Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently while ensuring clear reporting to the Internal Office Manager.
- Industry Knowledge: An industrial lighting industry background is a definite advantage.
- Negotiation: Demonstrable negotiating skills are a definite advantage for managing client and supplier interactions.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with processing and utilizing the SAGE 300 accounting package is a significant advantage.
