About the position

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Internal Account Manager / Salesperson to join our team. This role is based in a fast-paced call centre environment and requires a professional who can effectively manage inbound leads, close sales, and build lasting customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages inbound emails, calls, and leads, converting them into successful sales.
  • Build and maintain sales funnels to meet and exceed targets.
  • Develop and manage strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent follow-ups and account growth.
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly sales and performance reports.
  • Drive new business by engaging with potential distributors and customers.
  • Utilize digital tools such as Zoho Books, Zoho Desk, and eventually Zoho CRM to manage workflows and customer accounts effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven track record in sales within a high-pressure call centre or customer-focused environment.
  • Strong ability to manage sales funnels and close deals consistently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Desk advantageous; knowledge of Zoho CRM an added benefit.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

***Salary R20,000.00 + company phone + company laptop - once a customer base has been built commission will be included (Negotiable for the right candidate, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
