Intern Supply Chain Coordinator at Stern Ingredients South Africa

About the position

We are looking for a Supply Chain Management Intern to join our team for a 12-month internship. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of supply chain and logistics within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll work closely with our SCM team and gain exposure to:

• Procuring raw materials
• Planning and coordinating production schedules
• Managing inbound and outbound logistics
• Handling customs clearance procedures
• Assisting with obtaining trade certificates (e.g., SADC certificate)
• Tracking and analysing supply chain data
• Supporting the daily operations of the supply chain department
• Inventory Management

Who We're Looking For:
We're not just looking for a CV - we want someone who's:

• A recent graduate (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Great with numbers and Excel (advanced proficiency preferred)
• Analytical and data-driven
• Adaptable, hands-on and eager to learn
• A self-starter who also works well in a team
• Willing to go the extra mile and grow with the business

Nice to Have (but Not Required)

• Any internship or experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics
• Knowledge of customs clearance or production planning
