JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all purchase order and tariff-related queries are resolved, and maintain up-to-date information on exchange rates, freight costs, and shipping lead times to optimize profits and customer reliability.
- Manage communication and relationships between External and internal teams, provide visibility on raw material shipments, and oversee fabric flow, container utilization, and TEU forecast reports to ensure smooth logistics and compliance.
- Provide the Distribution Centre with necessary support and visibility to effectively manage raw material purchase orders and ensure timely receipt of containers.
- Conduct regular check-ins and coordinate with the IC to address container issues, while setting up procurement calendars and managing the bond store to maintain compliance and optimize cash flow.
- Drive vendor analytics to enhance consolidation and strategic sourcing of raw materials, ensuring the vendor onboarding process aligns with business requirements.
- Assist Central Operations and BI teams in managing forecast capacity for active fabric and trim vendors.
- Coordinate ITAC Masterplan Rebate permit applications and other permits, ensuring timely submissions and compliance to avoid lapses.
- Manage the use of approved tariff codes against permits, highlighting any risks related to compliance and design team.
- Manage duty applications, relating communication for adjusting costs and ensuring accurate updates to stock-on-hand values and reason codes in SYNC.
- Reconcile duty provisions with actual payments monthly by coordinating with AP Finance and D&M Finance teams on a purchase order level.
Qualifications and Experience:
- National Diploma in Clothing Management or Clothing Production or Fashion Design
- Interest in Import and Export Shipping & Logistics
