About the position
We are seeking an Intermediate Scrum Master with strong experience in Agile facilitation, team coaching, and enterprise-level delivery. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for driving Agile transformation, coaching teams, and ensuring continuous improvement across projects.
Key Responsibilities
Scrum Mastery & Agile Facilitation
- Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, promoting Agile values, principles, and best practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Identify and eliminate impediments to ensure optimal team performance.
- Drive continuous improvement via feedback loops and process refinement.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture to support innovation.
Coaching & Mentoring
- Provide Agile coaching to team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and promote Agile principles across the organization.
- Educate on Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and LeSS.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize a well-defined product backlog.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align Agile delivery with strategic goals.
- Support cross-team coordination and manage interdependencies effectively.
Continuous Improvement & Agile Transformation
- Lead Agile transformation initiatives across departments.
- Monitor and analyze Agile metrics: velocity, cycle time, burndown charts, etc.
- Advocate for Agile best practices and contribute to Communities of Practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Agile Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years at an intermediate level.
- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and LeSS.
- Proficiency with Agile tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally.
- Demonstrated success in facilitating Agile teams within complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor teams and individuals in Agile methodologies.
- Certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or Agile Coach are highly advantageous.
- Experience in financial services, investments, or similar industries is preferred.
