Introduction
The Intermediate Project Manager is responsible for leading moderately complex software development and implementation projects across the organization. The role requires coordination of cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and scope, while ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, coordinate, and manage software project activities from initiation to closure
· Create and maintain detailed project documentation including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution
· Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
· Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
· Organize regular project review meetings with stakeholders and team members
· Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
· Ensure resource availability and allocation
· Communicate project progress and escalate issues when necessary
Accountability
· On-time and within-budget delivery of assigned projects
· Accuracy and timeliness of project reporting
· Stakeholder satisfaction and communication
· Proactive risk and issue management
· Compliance with organizational project management standards
Minimum Requirements
Must have Experience.
· Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM) is required and must be valid and actively maintained.
· 3–5 years of project management experience in relevant industries.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
· Experience in the telecommunications or IT industry.
· Experience with Remote/Distributed Teams: Comfort working with hybrid or fully remote teams across different time zones.
· Multi-Project Handling: Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with interdependencies.

· Agile/Scrum Experience: Hands-on experience managing projects in Agile environments or certification in Scrum Master/Product Owner roles.
· Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), DevOps, or systems architecture.
· Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Sciforma. Zoho Projects.
· Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets and understand cost-benefit analyses.
· Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable using KPIs and metrics to drive project decisions.
Experience in a Regulated Industry: (e.g., telecoms) where governance and compliance are crucial
