About the position
Applicants must have the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science.
Must have 3-5 years of experience in metallurgical analysis and materials testing.
Must have experience with metallographic preparation and microscopy techniques.
Must have experience with metallographic software and data analysis tools.
Must have knowledge of heat treatment processes and phase diagrams.
Must have knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM and ISO.
Must be proficient with metallurgical testing equipment such as SEM, XRD, hardness testers, and tensile testing machines.
Must have knowledge of welding metallurgy and joining processes.
Must have knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and prevention methods.
Must be a DRC Citizen or willing to relocate to DRC.
