About the position
Applicants must have the following requirements: Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. If you do not hear back from us within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Must have 3-6 years of experience in a relatable engineering environment.
Must have a sound understanding of fabrication, boiler making/welding, and precision machining.
Must have excellent organizational, planning & time management skills.
Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, such as Word, Excel, and Teams.
A sound understanding of 3D CAD packages, in particular SolidWorks, would be advantageous.
A sound understanding of FEA Software, in particular SolidWorks Simulation and/or Abaqus, would be advantageous.
A sound understanding of Engineering Calculations Software, in particular Mathcad, MATLAB or similar, would be advantageous.
Exposure to ASME VIII, API and Class Rules (ABS & DNV) in respect of design and manufacture would be advantageous.
Salary R540,000.00 - R600,000.00 P/A
