About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
Our client is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join a remote team working across a WPF and Blazor desktop application and an ASP.NET Core cloud platform. The role involves completing assigned development tickets under the guidance of the Senior Full Stack Developer/Team Lead, with opportunities for increased ownership and professional growth. The successful candidate will also develop AI-assisted workflows, including Claude Code, and work later hours to support users, with a two- to three-day turnaround expected on assigned tickets.
DUTIES:
- Develop features and fix bugs across the WPF + Blazor desktop application and the cloud platform
- (ASP.NET Core, Blazor, EF Core, MSSQL), working from tickets assigned by the Team Lead.
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow established patterns and standards across both products.
- Build familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools, particularly Claude Code, to support day to day development.
- Assist with database work including schema changes, migrations, and query optimisation across SQLite (desktop) and MSSQL (cloud), under guidance.
- Support CI/CD processes for desktop and cloud deployments.
- Contribute to improving performance, reliability, and user experience across both products.
- Communicate progress on assigned tickets clearly to the Team Lead.
- May assist with initial bug intake and follow up (for example via Discord or social media channels) as the role develops.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Intermediate-level experience as a Full Stack Developer, comfortable working independently on assigned tasks.
- Solid working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Entity Framework Core.
- Exposure to or willingness to build strong proficiency in AI-assisted coding tools, particularly Claude Code.
- Working experience with either SQLite or Microsoft SQL Server, with an interest in strengthening both.
- Some exposure to building or operating cloud-hosted applications.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality.
- Ability to work remotely and manage your own time on assigned work.
- A genuine interest or passion for sim racing or motorsport is a real requirement for this role, not just a bonus. Passion signals such as owning a sim rig or playing racing games like Gran Turismo are viewed very positively.
