Intermediate Business Analyst

About the position

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication.
  
  
• Skilled in conducting business and technical elicitation sessions.
  
  
• Able to document processes and develop detailed requirement analysis.
  
  
• Proficient in business analysis techniques aligned with IIBA standards.
  
  
• Competent in creating OpenAPI specifications, low-fidelity UX mockups, and UML diagrams.
  
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design, and integration with tools like Postman, SoapUI, and MongoDB.
  
  
• Experience with SQL, JIRA, Lucidchart, and other IT workflow tools.
  
  

Soft Skills:

• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and initiative.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  
  
• Strong ownership, accountability, and relationship-building abilities.
  
  

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years as a Business Analyst.
  
  
• 4+ years in the investment industry.
  
  
• 6+ years in IT working with integrated solutions.
  
  
• Agile methodology experience preferred.
  
  

Qualifications:

• BCom Informatics or BSc degree.
  
  
• Diploma in Business Analysis (preferred).
