To design knock-out interiors for retail stores.

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the retail store design sector. All duties would take place in this context.

• Work with client to understand design brief
• Develop various concepts that meet brief
• Create 3D models and drawing packs for manufacturing team
• Ensure designs are easy and cost effective to to manufacture
• Work with project team to make sure design delivered as specified

Key Job Deliverables:

• Deliver design concepts that match client brief
• Deliver 3D models and drawing packs that are easy to manufacture and assemble
• Ensure client satisfaction with end product

Qualifications & Background work experience:

• Degree in Interior Design or Equivalent

• Understanding of the entire end-to-end retail design process

• Designing Building Interiors
• Designing retail store interiors
• Understanding the shopfitting process such as processes, materials, joins etc...
• Advantageous: Working with tier-1 retailers

Location: Durban, Durban North

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R240K to R480K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
