Integrated Marketing & Communication Manager

About the position

• Partner closely with the relevant business stakeholders from a product / segment / coverage perspective to translate the overall IMC strategy into an implementation framework and plan engaging and relevant campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
• Create, prioritise, and implement digital, direct and above the line marketing campaigns per the IMC plan for the BU product / segment / sector / coverage area in scope, with clear and creative messaging, driving a collaborative and well-coordinated approach to ensure campaign objectives are achieved.
• Utilise client research and insights to develop a deep understanding of client behaviour and decision-making processes, to shape, recommend and influence the business choices in ensuring the development of relevant and targeted campaigns with a medium-term time horizon and impact.
• Plan, integrate and execute client / product activations and events providing an opportunity for the BU product brands to create meaningful connections and sustainable impact, showcase products / services and drive sales and brand loyalty.
• Implement sponsorship opportunities specific to the BU product / segment / coverage area supported, to deliver the desired client experience, in line with BU and Group sponsorship frameworks.
• Prepare briefings for agencies and manages agency relationships to enable the development of creative concepts and messaging in support of IMC plans.
• Conduct media planning activities specific to the campaign to determine the best channels to deliver the messaging desired marketing impact. Engages media houses to execute on the plan through media buying activities.
• Leverage digital channels and tactics to connect directly with targeted audiences working closely with digital and technical teams to implement the digital campaigns.
• Use multiple social media platforms as a channel to drive targeted communication and engagement with customers in support of the IMC plan to connect with customers in a meaningful way.
• Stay up to date with the sectors and markets influencing the financial services industry across product / segment / sector / coverage area in scope to connect with identified target audiences in a meaningful and impactful manner.
• Collaborate and integrate with other functional areas in the BU as well as the marketing domain to ensure IMC objectives for the product / segment / coverage area are achieved.
• Analyse marketing and campaign data to measure the effectiveness and ROI of the campaign, using performance effectiveness tools and frameworks provided by the Group.
• Monitor campaign performance and adjusts campaign elements as needed to optimise results and meet objectives.
• Manage allocated marketing and campaign spend in line with approved budgets.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior IMC team members where applicable
