INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN – FREE STATE
Overview
The Security Installation Technician is responsible for the professional installation, configuration, and maintenance of alarms, CCTV systems, access control, and related security technologies. Due to the sensitive nature of client environments, a clear criminal and credit record is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
• CCTV installation — Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems
• Alarm system installation — Set up wired and wireless alarm systems according to client specifications.
• Access control installation — Install biometric, card, and keypad access systems.
• Compliance with installation standards — Ensure all work meets contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Maintenance & fault finding — Diagnose and repair faults on all company-supported security products.
• Stock control — Manage and account for installation materials and equipment.
• Job card completion — Accurately document work performed, materials used, and client signoff.

Experience & Requirements
• Matric / Grade 12.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in security system installation and maintenance.
• Alarm installation certification (required).
• CCTV installation certification (required).
• PSIRA registration (advantageous).
• SAIDSA certification (advantageous).
• Should reside in Bloemfontein or prepared to relocate on own cost
Remuneration & Benefits
Basic Salary: R20 000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
Provident Fund, Medical Aid, 13th Cheque: Paid in the month of your birthday.
Performance Bonus: Discretionary bonus in December.
