Inside Sales Representative - 3 Month Contract

About the position

• Learn sales script to communicate our solutions effectively while also being flexible enough to adapt when necessary.


• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.


• Research accounts, find key players and generate interest.


• Initiate contact with potential customers from a provided list to promote products or services.


• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.


• Build rapport with prospects, understand their needs, and address any questions or concerns they may have.


• Accurately record customer interactions and update CRM systems with relevant information about leads and follow-ups.


• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure or set up a meeting to connect the lead with a sales executive.


• Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.


• Potential to perform effective online demos to prospects.

Minimum Requirements:

• A degree in Business or a related field would be preferred


• At least 3 years of inside sales or telemarketing experience.


• Familiarity with IBM Maximo products or similar enterprise asset management solutions is highly advantageous.


• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong persuasive abilities and resilience in handling rejection.


• Strong skills in maintaining relationships with clients and understanding their needs.


• Proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot desired but not required) and basic computer skills.


• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.


• Ability to remain motivated despite challenges and maintain a positive attitude.


• A self-driven individual who can thrive in a target-driven environment and handle rejection.


• Strong organizational abilities to manage leads, follow-ups and customer data efficiently.


• Quick thinking to adjust conversations based on customer responses.


• A strong commitment to understanding customer needs and providing suitable solutions.
