About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inland Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of three sites within our FMCG/Manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or completed CIMA Qualification with a strong background in manufacturing financial management, costing, strategic planning, and compliance within the FMCG , manufacturing sector. This role is critical in ensuring financial efficiency, cost control, and alignment with corporate objectives
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee the financial performance of all three sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and present consolidated financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management.
  • Ensure financial statements comply with relevant financial regulations.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial audits.

Budgeting & Cost Control:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies to optimize costs and improve profitability.
  • Manage site-level and group-level budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Provide financial insights to operational teams to drive cost efficiency and revenue growth.

Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and internal controls.
  • Oversee internal audits and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard company assets.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivables, and inventory financing strategies.
  • Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize financial efficiencies.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
  • Lead and mentor finance teams across the three sites, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior management, operational teams, and external stakeholders to drive financial decision-making.
  • Act as the key finance liaison between the sites and corporate leadership.

Key Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or completed CIMA qualification
  • 8-10 experience in financial management within the Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations is highly advantageous.
  • Strong costing experience in Manufacturing
