Job Title: Injection Moulding Setter

Our client is looking for an experienced and hands-on Injection Moulding Setter to set up and operate injection moulding machines within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for machine settings, mould changes, production quality, and ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and according to production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up injection moulding machines, perform mould changes, install waterlines, ejector bars and hydraulic lines, and ensure correct machine programmes, temperatures, and settings.
• Monitor production quality and output, ensure products meet visual and dimensional standards, carry out minor maintenance, and report machine faults or defects to the Supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures while assisting with trimming, regrinding, packing products, and other production duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Experience working with injection moulding machines and machine setting will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of mould changes and machine setup procedures.
• Understanding of production processes and quality standards.
• Ability to follow work instructions, production job cards, and company procedures.
• Ability to identify machine faults and report maintenance requirements.
• Willingness to perform general production duties when required.
