About the position

Infrastructure Finance Specialist (Blended Finance) | State-Owned Infrastructure Development Finance Entity.
Johannesburg Head Office | 5-year Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking an Infrastructure Finance Specialist, to join one of the country's leading development finance institutions, established to transform public infrastructure financing and accelerate sustainable development.

What You'll Do:

  • Originate, structure, and close complex infrastructure deals - from conception to bankability.
  • Develop financial models, blended finance instruments, and public-private partnerships (PPPs).
  • Provide advisory and financing solutions for large-scale projects in sectors like energy, transport, and water.

What You'll Bring:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Development Finance.
  • 8+ years' experience in infrastructure or project finance, ideally across multiple sectors.
  • Strong financial modelling capability (Excel).
  • Track record in deal structuring, PPP advisory, and blended finance solutions.
  • Deep understanding of South Africa's infrastructure finance and policy landscape.
