About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
A South African cloud services provider seeks the technical expertise of an Infrastructure Engineer to fill a hands-on role where you will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the systems that keep its infrastructure running. The ideal candidate must have practical experience across virtualization, backups, networking, and server administration in a live enterprise environment. You also need to be familiar with DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs & comfortable working in a data center environment, including physical hardware work — rack/stack, cabling, connectors (DAC, SFP, fibre, QSFP), and component-level repairs (drives, servers, switches).
