About the position
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Expert level) to join a dynamic, fast-paced IT environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting secure network and infrastructure solutions, particularly within a Zero Trust initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical architecture and infrastructure for the SSE solution.
- Create comprehensive implementation plans with clear dependencies and milestones.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows for deployment and configuration.
- Ensure reproducible and secure infrastructure deployments.
- Integrate monitoring and logging mechanisms for operational oversight.
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support solution operations, including PoCs, platform development, and 24/7 standby.
- Troubleshoot and remediate network and security incidents.
- Provide technical documentation, guidance, and training for operations teams.
- Contribute technical input during RFI and RFQ processes.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles.
- Knowledge of SASE/SSE architectures, firewalling, and VPN technologies.
- Awareness of Zero Trust concepts and identity management practices.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, CASB, ZTNA, SWG components.
- Experience with APIs, monitoring, and logging tools.
- Agile working experience (mandatory).
Advantageous Skills
- Previous involvement in network infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to client management systems or cloud technologies.
- Scripting capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3–5+ years’ IT infrastructure experience.
- Relevant network certifications.
- SASE/SSE certification (beneficial).
