Our client, a respected organisation within the property sector, is seeking an Information Systems Engineer to join their finance and operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of business operations and technology, ensuring that core platforms, reporting processes, data flows, and user workflows support the organisation’s strategic and financial objectives.
The successful candidate will collaborate with finance, property management, asset management, IT teams, and external vendors to enhance systems, improve reporting capabilities, and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise business processes across property management, finance, billing, and leasing functions.
• Identify system inefficiencies and implement automation and workflow improvements.
• Lead and support the implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements.
• Ensure data integrity across tenant, lease, financial, and asset management systems.
• Develop dashboards and management reports, including arrears, cashflow, budgeting, and performance reporting.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Provide system training and support to internal users.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and digital transformation projects.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required 
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience

• 5 to 7 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst or Information Systems Engineer.
• Experience within the property, real estate, or financial services industry is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to property management systems and financial systems implementations.
• Experience with system integrations, reporting tools, and process optimisation initiatives.

Skills

• Strong understanding of financial processes including billing, debtors, creditors, leasing, budgeting, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, user support, and system administration principles.
• Basic SQL or data querying knowledge will be beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
