Information Security Analyst

About the position

We are seeking a detail irentated and proactive Information Security Analyst to monitor, assess and ensure the intergrity, confidentiality and availabilty of our organisation digital assets. This role involes analsing security measures, identifying potential threats, responding to incidents and implementing best practice to safeguard sensitive information.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitoring IT infrastructure and networks systems for security breaches and investigate violations
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyss to identify security gaps.
• Implement and maintaing security tools sech as firewalls, antivirus and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS)
• Develop, enforce and update security policies and procedures.
• Respond to security incidents and assist in recovery efforts.
• Perform regular audits and compliance checks
• Educate staff on security awareness and best practices.
• Stay updated on current cyber threats, tools and treands
• Collaborate with IT, legal and compliance teams to ensure organisational security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Professional certifocations preferred (e.g CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
